König Holz und Harz sanding primer is a sanding sealer that makes sanding wood surfaces easier.
It does not close the pores, strengthens the wood fibers and raises them.
This ensures a noticeably better grinding result and a very smooth surface.
The sanding base is the perfect basis for waxed or high-gloss surfaces.
It is advisable to use a sanding base for every sanding job after the first sanding process.
Why use Sanding Sealer?
By applying König Holz's sanding base and resin during the sanding process, the folded wood fibers can be removed.
When sanding, some wood fibers are folded over and not completely removed.
Even if the surface appears smooth after sanding, the folded wood fibers would straighten up again once stain, paint or other products were applied. This would result in a rough surface.
If you apply the sanding base before and during sanding, the folded fibers soak up, straighten up and harden.
Since they remain in a fixed position after drying, they can be completely removed in the subsequent grinding process.
It only takes a few minutes to cure.
It is advisable to use a sanding base for every sanding job after the first sanding process.
